Oh, come on, I started this blog on the 6th of December! So I took a week off. …Or…two, whatever, It is all good. I admit that I got really mad at WordPress because I made an awesome post and it just got deleted, slapped off the blogosphere, saturated into the thick skull that is the internet, and it just made me mad with anger and hatred and …just…a lot of turmoil and stuff over WordPress and my adorable baby blog. It was so great. I was having one of those things I get where I love something and I want to share it with you—but I just couldn’t remake it right after I’d made it, because the true perfection of the original post, now lost forever, would have been muddled with hidden emo-hate towards the fact that it was all a waste. All the picture posting…the awesome word-play…All, lost. But me and WP had a few days to regroup and readjust our differences and intellectual un-matchingness (mine being much higher) and, so… in a phrase: I’m back.

I was into Miranda Kerr and Russell Brand’s blossoming careers (ok I was just interested in them), still into the latter, but right now I am kind of interested in artsy cinematography, much like, The Spirit, by that guy who made Sin City. I love the muddled colors stressing to get out and the main red theme streaking through it. I mean, don’t you?! Isn’t it just fun?! I wonder how cool that would be to make. Something about me: I kind of want to be a Comp Nerd. Like, but who knows.

So, let’s have a trailer.

Ugh, gimme a fag, I hope that works.

I didn’t know what it was about until watching that latter one just there. Very interesting. Reminds me of my latest fiancé. Anywho.

Screw the embedding codes WHO IS GOING TO GO SEE IT?!

And who’s taking me with them as their date?? Since Russell Brand doesn’t know we’re engaged? He is, after all, a heterosexual man. Not according to popular belief, but according to me and darn good journalism. 😉

And what’s all this about Anne Hathaway getting nominated by that Actor’s Guild in Rachel Getting Married? Did she get acting chops from Meryl Streep and go all deep, starved artist on us?!

FRESH Off the Runway: The 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Extravaganza…Show ;-)

In Uncategorized on December 4, 2008 at 6:35 am

What a blast! Miami was more than alive tonight as the Fontainebleu Hotel was all a glitter with neon hot pink lights and super bronzed, super bare skin stretching over beautiful glamorous 10 foot models for the 2008 Victoria’s Secret show!! I was so excited, and I thought I was actually going to miss it due to a meeting tonight, and I ACTUALLY thought I was going to have to find some BLANK VHS tape lying around and TAPE it! Old school! No Tivo, gotta pay the rent! But, I ended up not having to go! And I languished in the thought that I could just plop my little 5’4 1/2″ body down on the sofa and watch it like a normal human, messy recording tape-free! And…I did. Usher guest performed and moves better than J.T. even tho he’s older and has fathered a child (not that there was much involved on his part). And it was all together very grand, but ended SO fast! It was like a heart beat and bam it was over!

Yet, I don’t know HOW the organizers do it–it is always somehow more visually satisfying, intriguing, and well-edited than the last show! The guy that edited the models this time was perfect. So, that’s a reminder for next year, —(??), rich Victoria’s Secret director mogul guy, you.

And of course, I had a few favourites. I’ll leave some EYEball candy here for you to gnaw on…er, you know, whatever. Goodnight! xxxooox … X!

You’re a Sexy Beast If You’re Reading This. No. I swear.

In Uncategorized on December 2, 2008 at 9:11 pm

Which…you are. Reading this, I mean. Ergo, You Are A a sexy BEAST. (muahaha) Oh, don’t shy away now. I’ve flattered you with my uncanny choice of adjectives and weird capitalization of the wrong words & there’s no turning back. You know it. I know it. … So, it is December 2nd. I can no longer yell in all caps HAPPY DECEMBER 1ST!! I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’ve got like pi-polar hormones. My conscious, like, the one speaking this in my head and concurrently being able to type it out, is completely bland. Like that Zooey Deschanel person whenever her voice penetrates robotically through a small TV speaker>> .

But, on the outside…I’m in the mood. For, like, Christmas, I mean. It’s all around us, man. It’s December. And props to those of you who celebrate Chrismukkah because you are of mixed heritage. Like Seth from that show O.C. >>https://i0.wp.com/wirelessdigest.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/chrismukkah.jpg(mmm..brings back memories. Seth had the most adorable lisp.)

DECEMBER! When all sixty-seven and a half of those resolutions on that list finally pull together like that stupid purple afghan you’ve been knitting for the past five years>>Garter stripe afghan close up to where you are actually riveted with inspiration to finish them. There’s a pulsing adrenaline and energy in every dead bud on the side of the road, in every heated car stuck in traffic, in every waft of cold air that Nyquils down your throat and makes you inhale that much deeper whenever the heat gets to be too much and you roll down your window in a suffocated frenzy, this, my friends, is that time of year. Speaking of that time a year, there has been a butt-load of frenzy going on in

London Town>>

the city of FASHION and stick figured quote/unquote “hotties” this week, it’s all a buzz…Yes, due to the British Fashion Awards. And this is your bipartisan review. Well, supposedly. I might get bored and curl up in my imaginary purple afghan and watch with awe at the way Merideth’s skin glows imperceptibly on Who Wants to be a Millionaire…

So, it was surprisingly held in Britain and was sponsored up by Swarovski (they make nice crystals), and was said to be a rather stellar tea party of an event, if I do say so myself, with 500+ celebrity guests (pff) and a whole slew of the industry insiders of the glamorous Milan-parking fashionistas from across the globe itself. Christian slater even showed up. Hmmm…

But most importantly, is the fashion. The clothes. The threads!! (You saw it coming, or you should have been prepared.) Among my favorites is the designs of lovely 2008 winner Luella Bartely, who is a divine thing and makes what she feels like in a soft array of translucent rainbow skittles colors and doesn’t mind pairing a hot pink cocktail dress (that appears to be too big for its model) with these Chinese boat shaped bug slippers! >> Luella A/W 2007

Heavenly!

Ugh…Guys, to be honest, I think the only cool thing about this event was the weirdos who showed up to the after party. Everyone likes a nice look at an after party. The lights…>>Ok, I just researched the After Party. And I have no idea who any of those people are. But, the red carpet! Maybe there’s something there!! … No. Just your usual assortment of guests. >>

Well, its been one heck of a week for fashion people. That being said, there is nil to report. I still like the flavor of the beginning of this post, though. So, we won’t give up on it all together.

*And, by the by, that thing I said about Zooey Deschanel’s voice being robotic, like a displaced vibrator, a man, even, well, its really not fair. Truth isn’t fair. But, it’s really not that fair, considering the picture I paired with the comment for the mere sake of comic flow. So, I have also posted a much more flattering picture of Miss Deschanel in a beautiful Angel light hearted gothic bodice, which is not frumpy or robotic in any sense, giving homage to the Indie Film Princesses other talents. Posing. Not talking. Simply flattering.

//wallpapers.celebritydesktop.com/hollywood/thumbs/lrg-1582-zooey-deschanel-24.JPG” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Now where can I get one of those…??

And, look, here she is again in the latest Jim Carey movie about a guy who says yes all the time. I think she’s the one on the left playing Hermione Granger from Harry Potter in some sort of cosplay Americana. And, more than likely, quite well. *yawn*>>

Another Blog, Another Procrastinating Blogger. Another WordPressman–er, Chick.

In Uncategorized on December 1, 2008 at 10:40 pm

So, congratulations me, this is my first blog. I’m not really feelin’ it because I set out to write about fashion and pop culture, but all I know about such soliloquies is the stuff I am interested in. And what cult freaks are interested in amazing concerts that vary from M.I.A.>> https://i0.wp.com/niralimagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/09/mia-2.jpg to John Mayer, audacious designers that vary from Alexander Wang>

Photobucket (he’s on the left, and is just as committed to his creed as he looks, boys and girls) to Betsey Johnson> , to Victoria’s Secret>> to Roberto Cavalli to something some under or over-endowed anime character was wearing>>https://i0.wp.com/static.animekiwi.com/images/upload/shugo-chara.jpg, and stuff like the weirdest spots in the world (noreply’s bedroom), and…awesome movies>>, and even more awesome novels>>!!?? I’ll tell you who’s interested in it, my new cult. My subscribers. We, the people of WordPress, and such.

So, here’s a little bit about ME <3<3

  • My right hand is always freezing no matter what season, contrasting with my room temperature left
  • I think. A Lot. And hope to do it as a profession, yet get called a writer for having thought to write it down, or hire a person who does that for you (can’t think of their proper title).
  • Consequently, to the first item, I think I am in the beginning stages of arthritis although I am just a sieve of a hot young thing.
  • I enjoy fried rice
  • And love Japanese culture… :3
  • I’m a child of God but don’t mind a wicked indulgence
  • I want to major in everything
  • Which means I am interested in everything and have avid A.D.D. for whichever one I am in the mood for in the moment at which I am being called upon by an urge to do, which would include: Web Design (a new addition to the group), being an assassin like Angelina Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Smith (which I’m still trying to figure out how exactly to major in), voice acting for Japanese Anime English dubbing, writing, journalism, reporting, computer programming, dance, music, aerospace engineering, and telepathy. None of which I am committed to.
  • Yet, I am a shaving away from a Business Management Degree. So…That has nothing to do with the above. (I know =3)
  • Other than writing, I enjoy a soft blanket and some good tunes to rock me violently to sleep
  • And this was my first blog
  • And I’m strangely attached to 90s Paris fashion
  • UP NEXT: something about someone’s creative achievement that, though I had nothing to do with, I will inevitably judge.
